Hello!(April Blog)

Hello. Nice to meet you. My name is Eri Imai.
I was born in Tokyo to a Japanese father and a Canadian mother. I’ve spent my life living in both Canada and Japan. While I attended high school in Canada, I lived with my aunt and uncle on a farm where we had goats, sheep, chickens, and a large vegetable garden and fruit orchard. It was a great experience helping out on the farm and I really enjoyed school in Canada.
Upon my return to Japan, I worked at a hotel in Atami, and then assisted at an English school in Ito and was the teacher there for two years before moving to Yokohama. I have been studying to get my TOEFL certification and now I’m excited to resume teaching. I’ve been involved with Bridges since its start and I am very happy to be teaching here now!

Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
